How to Restart a Laptop

Here are some handy instructions to restart or reboot your laptop computer.

* Begin with your laptop in front of you.
* There are two methods to deal with a restart (not for use with frozen laptops).
* Method 1- Go to the start menu or apple menu and click on the restart button.
* If your computer asks you to close down some programs before it can shut down then do as it asks.
* Method 2- press the power button. Once the menu has popped up, select the restart option.
* Again if the computer asks you to close any programs then do so.
* For frozen laptops then try method 3. Be warned, this method may result in you losing unsaved work.
* Method 3- Push down and hold the power button until the computer has completely turned off. Leave it for 10 seconds and then push the power button once again to start it back up.

Warning and Tips

* Try to save all of your work often so that in the event that a freeze or crash may occur then you wont mind losing so little.
